So, it looks like we are back? It seems like a classic thing to do. Get together again, kick out at least
one band member before, after or during the tour and then end up in a big mess with lawyers and
We have all been busy with other stuff the past years. Life. Kids. Work. Then all of a sudden, a nice guy
from the south of Germany knocks on our door. One of our very first german shows was booked by him,
the lovely Peter Lenk. He had realized that the summer of 2019 would be the tenth anniversary of his
start as a local promotor and the vision this time was to get both Hellsongs and the brilliant Tim
Neuhaus to play the Prittlstock festival this summer.
Now this is important to remember. Doing only one show so far away from Göteborg, makes both the
logistics and the economics rough. To make it even more difficult let us look at the world of today. Have
you heard the latest climate news? If not, you are kind of lucky.
We had a talk about it and all agreed on a solution. That was going by train, bringing families and
friends and try to write new material adressing the issue. To make it more fun and logistically easy we
wanted to include Hamburg and Berlin as well.
We are of course more than aware of the fact that neither three Hellsongs shows, nor our choice to do a
tour by train, will save the world. But hey, it is our contribution.
And yes, it might be too late to reverse this situation, but we don´t think it is too late for trying. Let us do this together, let us have fun, let us rock Germany together!
